101 in 1001: Winter Update

The most recently completed items are crossed out in red—but here the highlights:

One of my favorite memories this winter is going to the Phantom of the Opera at the Hippodrome. We ate lavishly and enjoyed a wonderful night at the Hippodrome theater. Read more about my night here!

I also really did some good work visiting museums and was able to complete number 4. My favorite museum was the Natural History museum in D.C. My cousin was visiting and I was able to pretend to be a tourist along with her. It was a beautiful day that concluded in Pi pizza (you must order deep dish–arguably better than Chicago deep dish!).

On another note, I completed number 43 by investing in a nice blanket and some throw pillows. I did a good amount of searching but found a nice set at Marshalls. I love their home section and you can find some really great deals. I bought this set of 2 pillows for $20. They are bright which made me hesitate to buy them but after a bit of encouragement from a friend I brought them home. They are bright but somehow bring the room together and add a bit of character. Happy with my purchase 🙂
